Well the day has come. 2011 will be starting (for me at least) in about 2 hours. Now, I don't really have time to write a huge post about the new year (for that you could go here, here, or here) but I did just recently see a post on Zack's Nerf showing some of his stats. I figured that that that was a pretty good idea so I've created a page for you to see some of my stats. Hope you like it, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Here is the site with the stats on it: http://nerfcenter.blogspot.com/p/nerf-center-stats-for-2010.html

Sonic Series update
I have an update for the Nerf Sonic Series post. I have a confirmation on (almost) the whole series and also better photos of the blasters and their box art. I'll start with the confirmed blasters one-by-one.
Recon CS-6

Deploy CS-6

Vulcan EBF-25

Maverick REV-6

Nite Finder EX-3

Until recently, the whole sonic series has been just a speculation, but these pics were spotted on toysrus.com (link here). It was spotted on shelves in the US a while ago by an Urban Taggers fan named Dave (pic below), so it's definitely available in the US now.

A Sonic Maverick spotted in the US... and only $11 too :) |
If this doesn't answer all your questions, I don't really know what will (well, maybe commenting). I'll update as soon as i get more info, and I'll work on getting some Sonic guns. Until then, bye!

Merry Christmas from Nerf Center!
Well, here it is. We've been waiting all year for this. Yep, it's Christmas! Nerf Center is still a young blog (we have only been on the web for about four months, but it seems like a million years) but we're getting bigger every second. So on behalf of Nerf Center, have a merry Christmas! 2011 is coming on quick, and so are whole new lines of Nerf products. At Nerf Center one of our main goals is to keep everyone (including us [yeah, we learn a lot about Nerf from this]) up to date with all those new products. So whatever you get for X-mas, Nerf or not, keep on comin' to Nerf Center!

New Dart Tag Blaster?
Posts have come up on Urban Taggers, Nerf Intelligence Corporation, SG Nerf and other sites about a new Dart Tag blaster called the Swarmfire. There isn't a whole lot of information on it out there, so I'll tell you all I know on it.
First of all, it's a semi-automatic, battery operated gun, about the size of a Firefly (it actually seems to work like a Firefly on steroids). It holds 20 darts and they can be fired single-shot or semi-auto, but it won't fire streamlines.
Photos: (courtesy of Urban Taggers, since he's the only one that has one)
So far it has not been spotted on shelves, but it will likely be out soon.
That's it for now, but i'll post on it when I get more info.

Nerf Sonic Series info
There is now a new Nerf series (similar to the Clear Series) called the Nerf Sonic Series. So far, all I really know is that they are just clear blasters with a green tint. A few photos;
The "Sonic" Deploy |
The "Sonic" Nite Finder |
The "Sonic" Maverick- front box art |
The "Sonic" Maverick- back box art |
There were articles on this on Nerf Intelligence Corporation, Urban Taggers, Basicnerf, and Nerf or Nothing.
Klenix Kil said this on Nerf SG after getting his hands on a "Sonic" Maverick;
"I managed to get my hands on the one and only green maverick my supplier had. I was made to pay like 20% more than a retail yellow maverick but my curiosity overcame all prudence. Here is a little description:
So basically what you have is a clear/transparent neon green Mav with orange parts like the regular clear ones. Piggy appropriately described the green as "the cheap $1 water gun plastic green" because that is exactly what it looks like.
It came with 6 sucker darts and had 'Sonic Series' written on the box. My supplier has confirmed that the factories are about to churn out a whole series of green stuff like the recon and raider (again) so i guess we can all 'look forward' to another new/old line of blasters to spend our retirement fund on."

I think that Urban Taggers proved a good point by saying that most of the leaked photos of new blasters are from Hasbro employees that sneak out a gun then take a picture of it. One other thing, the series is a TRU exclusive (notice the "Only at Toys R Us" symbol on the Maverick REV-6) (below).
Notice the "Only at Toys R Us" symbol |
That obviously means that the Sonic Series line is a Toys R Us exclusive. Most other N-Strike blasters will probably be in the line too, and I'm not sure about the release date, but the Sonic blasters will probably cost a good 10-20% more than regular guns. Other than that, there isn't much else I know about them. Now, I'm off to Toys R Us...

Foam Blaster Toolbar
I have just finished a new toolbar on the right side of the blog.
Click on any Nerf or Buzz Bee blaster and you will be sent to the official page for it, but neither Lanard or Air Zone had a good website, so those blasters don't have links. And also, I only made a list of all Nerf and Buzz Bee blasters that were on the site (I think I may have missed a few N-Strike guns because they weren't there), so there might not be every single blaster. Anyways, feel free to click on any link and tell me (by commenting on this post) if there is any problem with any of the links, and i'll fix them.

Nerf banana clip?
This just popped up on Nerf Intelligence Corporation.
Very interesting...
It might be only a photoshop, a fake mod, or a modified Buzz Bee Clip 10 (below), but if it's real, there will probably be a new blaster resembling an AK-47 just for the new clip, and I would definitely like to see that.
Very interesting...
The gun looks to be slightly modified (possibly along with the clip), but the clip does look real. |
It looks just like an AK-47 banana clip, probably 20-30 darts.
The problem is, I think I see some duct tape on the clip, so I can't be sure if it is real or not, but keep your hopes up!
Soon we may have a Nerf gun that looks just like this! :)

Here is the official Stampede commercial:
And here's a good Stampede review:
